Your right Noel,

I was too lazy to look up the tone frequencies when I typed the email.

Cheers

I dont think we should talk about transmitting on "10.151MHz LSB", we
should
be talking about having our tones on what we understand is the
internationally used frequencies of 10.149.200 and 10.149.400.

As has been pointed out many times by several people, the frequency you
set
your dial to is determined by which TNC or sound card program that each
individual may be using (as well as how accurate your rigs dial is).
Using
10.151MHz LSB is fine for a couple of brands of TNC, but is not a
one-size-suits-all frequency. Basically, it is not a question of what
you
set your rig to, as long as the end result is that your tone pair is as
quoted above.

Incidentally, here in ZL some of us are monitoring the above tone pair,
and
hope to have several receiving stations set up to interface with the
local
i-gates in the not too distant future.

Regards, Noel, ZL3GR.
